The ASWC Advisers are part of the Office of Student Life (located in the Shaw Center), which is the main student advocacy office on campus. Students come here if they have questions on college policy, posting notices on campus, student activities, student government, and/or the 50+ student clubs on campus. The office is also the central location for the lost and found items on campus. A student can secure a table as a vendor, submit information for the Dear John weekly publication, or rent one of the lockers located in the lower level of the Shaw Center.

The office also serves as the information center for residence life, veterans' affairs, commencement, convocation, food service inquiries, leadership, and study abroad. The dean of students and the director of student involvement and leadership are housed in this office.
